Cafeteria Foods in French Schools, By Luck...they might just not suck!
All the kids in French schools get quality food in French schools. In America, cheaper comes first. Not in French Schools! They want to make sure they have very good, healthy, nutritious foods in there school. In a primary school the lunch consists of
a salad starter, a warm main course, cheese, and dessert. With vegetarian options, if needed. A popular dish is ratatouille. If there is a meat meal, the vegetarian option usually consists with cous-cous and a vegetable. But, not only is the food healthy, it also tastes great. It is also made in a warm environment, with brightly colored kitchens and cafeterias. The chefs are also very nice, and want to be there. Not to mention, that instead of waiting in line, they serve it right to the table! All in all, the french food system is very well put together, and thought out.
